Google Book Settlement - neuer Verhandlungstermin

Am 01.06.2011 fand eine weitere Anhörung im Vergleich zum Google Book Settlement statt, welche jedoch ein schnelles Ende hatte:

"At a status hearing that lasted all of five minutes, attorney Bruce Keller told Judge Chin that no decisions have been reached on any key issues in the Google Book Settlement, but that the parties still hoped to see if an amicable resolution is possible."

Nachdem sich die Parteien darauf verständigt haben, dass sie gegebenenfalls in weiteren Verhandlungen eine Einigung erzielen können, setzte der New Yorker Richter Chin einen neuen Verhandlungstermin an. Die nächste so genannte status conference findet am 19.07.2011 statt.
